Braceros were Mexican nationals who worked throughout the Southwest from 1942 to 1964 as part of a binational agreement between the U.S. and Mexico. Southern California citrus grove owners depended on their labor and exploitability. This short video combines first-hand testimonies from those involved in different aspects of the Bracero Program, from laborers to those who managed them.
