The Inland Empire People’s History Conference celebrates its third year bringing together community history keepers, K-16 educators, writers, artists, organizers, scholars, and students. Together we will explore the art, culture, and histories of Riverside and San Bernardino Counties as well as the Pomona Valley. Conversations will consider what we collectively mean by the I.E., and how we illuminate the region’s diverse communities and regional struggles for justice past and present. The 2026 conference includes panels on Immigrant Defense, Music as Resistance,Ethnic Studies Curriculum, Grassroots Local History, and Social Justice Writing, featuring keynote speakers Ed Tessier at lunch and Matt Garcia in the evening.
